Ted Strickland's vote on H. Res. 895...another vote showing the Governor wannabe is weak on the Global War on Terror

You have to give Congressman Ted Strickland credit for being consistent...consistently wrong that is.

Following his June 16, 2006 vote against House Resolution 861 which "declares that the United States will prevail in the Global War on Terror, the noble struggle to protect freedom from the terrorist adversary", Strickland went on to vote against House Resolution 895.

Governor wannabe Strickland specifically voted against:
Supporting intelligence and law enforcement programs to track terrorists and terrorist finances conducted consistent with Federal law and with appropriate Congressional consultation and specifically condemning the disclosure and publication of classified information that impairs the international fight against, etc.
As with HR 861, Strickland voted against the Ohio delegation:

Update: Strickland's 'consistency' goes back further than this summer. He also voted against House Resolution 612 on December 16, 2005:
Expressing the commitment of the House of Representatives to achieving victory in Iraq

Update: Juy 11, 2005; Strickland votes against H.R. 3199: USA PATRIOT Improvement and Reauthorization Act of 2005.
