Farm Subsidies
This chart from The Heritage Foundation shows that Senator Mike Dewine has received over $176,000 in Farm Subsidies. The whole article (Another Year at the Federal Trough: Farm Subsidies for the Rich, Famous, and Elected Jumped Again in 2002 by Brian M. Riedl) is a must read to get a full appreciation for the waste in agricultural programs.

You have a great blog! I added it to our blogroll and I'll be sure to check to see all the ugly pork that exists in politics.
I do wish I lived in Cincinatti. With folks like Tom Brinkman and Bill Seitz, you can't go wrong. My home of Lorain County is swarming with Democrats. But both parties are obviously guilty of pork. I'll be sure to write an email to DeWine this evening.
