The Punch Clock Campaign

15 Congressional candidates have now signed! The Punch Clock Campaign agreement to put their daily schedules on the Internet. The goal of this effort is to increase the public disclosure of the actual work elected representatives do on behalf of constituents. (HT: BizzyBlog via email)

There's a $1,000 bounty/reward if you get your representative to sign the agreement. Porkopolis is urging Congresswoman Jean Schmidt to sign the agreement and will donate the reward to a local charity.

Related: Bob Novak recently wrote about Sen. Arlen Specter's unusually candid assessment of the Senate's notoriously light work schedule.

Update: NixGuy recommends that representatives cut down their staff and dedicate themselves to actually reading the bills they will be voting on.
