Congressman Don Young: Stuck on Stupid

Congressman Don Young is Stuck on Stupid. From the Anchorage Daily News, Young makes the following comment on the 'Bridge to Nowhere' he was able to fund through the Highway Bill:

"They can kiss my ear!" Young boomed when Sam Bishop, Washington correspondent for the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, asked him about the many pleas to redirect the bridge money.

Along with the pork for the bridge in the Highway Bill, Alaska also received maintenance dollars for the Federal Alaska Highway at almost twice the amount (per mile) for a similar state road as detailed in Artic Pork: The Saga Continues.
