Hopefully Porkopolis the restaurant is not looking at starting a blog...first ribs...er, dibs.

Porkopolis is the new name of the restaurant at 1077 Celestial St. in Mount Adams (formerly Rookwood Pottery).

New owner Nick Longo also owns Nick's Chops and Chasers in Oakley. The new menu features pork chops, steaks, ribs, salads and sandwiches, plus 32 appetizers.

"We've got quite a reputation at Nick's over the last 19 years for the ribs and the pork chops, and we really want people to try those," he says. "But for fans of Rookwood, we want them to know we're still going to have the burgers."

Porkopolis is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (513) 721-5456.
