Today They March; Tomorrow They Will Vote
Supporters of illegal immigrants have adopted the theme 'Somos America: Hoy Marchamos MaƱana Votamos, meaning We are America: Today We March, Tomorrow We Vote'.
In light of the fact that the American citizens [Because only citizens can vote; voter fraud notwithstanding; see Feb 26, 1996 entry for the The Al-Arian Story] amongst the demonstrators will probably vote lockstep with the organizers of the demonstrations [Not an unreasonable assumption, considering the demonstrators followed the instructions on the 'memo' to ditch the Mexican flags; before/after.], it's worth pondering for a moment just what tomorrow's 'vote' might bring us.
Might we see an America where:

- Illegal Immigrants can get Driver's Licenses?
- Government housing authorities will finance home loans for illegal immigrants?
- Or better yet, let's just skip this nonsense of only American citizens voting and determining the fate of our country and create a nation where even the illegal immigrants participating in the demonstrations don't have to depend on the American citizens amongst them to vote on their behalf.
That's right, we simply let the illegal immigrants vote for themsleves in our elections.
