Chavez makes US oil export threat:

Oil exports to the US could stop amid growing tensions between the two countries, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has said.
So, just whom do you think President Chavez would call on to protect his oil-rich nation if Venezuela (fellow OAS member) were to be invaded?

Venezuela is able to get away with spending only 1.5% of their GDP on defense (compared with 3.3% for the U.S. ) because of the umbrella of security that we offer to fellow OAS members.
