1 Year Anniversary of Beslan Hostage Crisis
This story (Russia Seeks Protest of Basayev Interview) reminds us that the 1 Year Anniversary of the Beslan school hostage/terrorist crisis will soon be commemorated on September 1st.
The suffering (click on 'Exclusive: Hostage Video January 23, 2005 00:20:14' ) that the school children of Beslan had to endure should still send a chill through the spine of every civilized person.
MoscowHelp.org is a charity that is accepting donations for the people of Beslan. The web site for the charity does a very good job of documenting both the donations and distributions.
