My kind of economic thinking!

Walter Williams (profile, writings) is a commentator and economist that has influenced a lot of my own thinking. The Enquirer today highlights a powerful piece Williams wrote in August of last year (ECONOMICS 101: NOTHING'S 'FREE,' AND THERE'S NO SANTA).

I particulary like how he takes an argument to the extreme and then starts walking back from it to make his case. A must read.

The Enquirer is also asking for reader feedback on all their columnists. An excellent public service and I applaud them on it.
